2015 Academy Honors and Awards Banquet

Congratulations to the 2015 Academy Honorees who were recognized at the Academy Honors & Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 26, 2015, during AudiologyNOW! in San Antonio, TX.

The honorees were joined at the banquet by over 250 members of the audiology community, which included colleagues, students, friends, and family.

Each of the 2015 Academy Honorees has made significant contributions to the fields of audiology and/or hearing science. They inspire us to greater heights and remind us of the contributions made on behalf of persons with hearing loss whom we serve.

The 2015 Academy Honorees recognized at the banquet were:

Joseph W. Hall, III, PhD - Jerger Career Award for Research in Audiology
Harvey Dillon, PhD - International Award in Hearing
David Moore, PhD - Career Award in Hearing or Balance
James Kates, EE - Samuel F. Lybarger Award for Achievements in Industry
Gary Jacobson, PhD - Distinguished Achievement Award
Brad Stach, PhD - Distinguished Achievement Award

In addition to recognizing the Academy Honorees, the 2015 Student Research Forum Award Recipients were announced, as were the 2015 JAAA Editor’s Awardees.
