Assistive Listening Device (ALD)
Provided by: Williams Sound, LLC
Assistive listening devices (ALDs) are available for all educational sessions (excluding posters). Receivers are available upon request at the ALD desk. For the best reception, ALD users are encouraged to sit toward the front of the room. Open captioning will also be provided at the General Assembly. Visit the Williams Sound ALD desk in Registration.
Badges are required for all conference participants and must be worn at all times to gain entrance to sessions, events, and the exhibit hall. Swapping badges is prohibited and may result in expulsion from AudiologyNOW! without refund. Appropriate identification may be requested. See our Policies.

Cell Phones & Electronic Devices
Please be considerate of your fellow attendees and turn off or silence cell phones and electronic devices during all educational sessions and special events.
Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be published on the Web site home page at the end of the conference.
CEUs & CEU Manager
CEU Manager is used to record your CEUs and print an AudiologyNOW! transcript. During the educational sessions, the instructor(s) will present a pass code. This code is unique to this session only and will be presented at the end of the session. Record the pass code on the CEU Worksheet, found in the convention bag. Record only the sessions you attended. Entering CEU information into CEU Manager is the ONLY way to receive CEU credit.

The American Academy of Audiology is not responsible for the comments expressed by any course presenter, nor does it accept responsibility for the content or the reprinting of any materials handed out during presentations.
All presenters have been asked to disclose their affiliations or financial interests in any organization or commercial product that may relate to their presentation. The Academy lists all disclosures that have been provided by the presenters, with the presenter's name, under each session description in the online conference planner.
Conference attire is business casual. Meeting room temperatures can vary considerably throughout the day; a light jacket or sweater is suggested.
The safety and security of attendees and staff is the first priority of the Academy and the Indiana Convention Center. In the event of an emergency inside the convention center, use a house phone to dial security and be prepared to provide the nature and the exact location of the emergency.
First Aid is located across from Hall E near the Security Office.

CEU Manager, internet access, session and exhibits locator, and online session planner are in one central location to keep you connected.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found will be located at the main registration counters. Any items remaining with Lost and Found at the close of the event will be turned over to the Convention Center Security personnel. The Academy is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
As part of your convention registration, you will receive concession coupons for Thursday and Friday, valued at $10 per day. The coupons can be used toward purchases at the concession stations on the show floor, or specialty food stations/carts located throughout the convention center.
Hold onto your lunch coupons, they are like cash! Lost or stolen coupons cannot be replaced.
Mail & Packages
For security reasons all attendee mail or small packages should be sent directly to your hotel. Remember to bring your tracking numbers. Package and delivery fees may apply and are the responsibility of the attendee.

If you are presenting, the Presenter's Ready Room is a place where you can review and upload your presentation, practice for your session, and pick up presenter ribbons.
Academy staff will be available to provide information about AudiologyNOW! and arrange interviews with Academy leaders. Contact Amy Miedema.
The Conference Guide is the hard copy program for AudiologyNOW! and has information on what is happening, when and where. For the most complete and up-to-date searchable conference information download the mobile app and use the online conference planner. Pick up a copy of the Daily News (Thursday and Friday).
Recordings (session proceedings)
Take your favorite sessions home or listen to sessions you missed! Unless otherwise noted, Featured Sessions, Learning Modules, Exhibitor Courses, and Research Podiums are recorded and offered for purchase at the on-site sales desks, or you can pre-order online during conference registration.
Session handouts will be available for free online before, during, and after the conference.
Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Central
Stop by SAA Central for information on the American Academy of Audiology’s student organization and to network with your fellow students. Gather important Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) information to bring back to your chapter, and see what other SAA chapters have been up! Members of the SAA Board of Directors and SAA Programs Subcommittee will be on hand to answer your questions.

The Convention Center has wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis at the First Aid Office, or the Security Office. A government issued picture ID is required as a deposit for the wheelchair. Wheelchairs may not be removed from the facility. A fee will be imposed for any wheelchairs not returned.
Scooter and electric wheelchair rental is available from a variety of locations.
Attendees are responsible at all times for the security of personal items such as purses, laptops, electronic equipment, etc. It is recommended that you do not wear your meeting badge outside convention functions or on the street.
Session Room Capacity
Extensive and careful planning goes into scheduling sessions in appropriately-sized rooms, however, occasionally overcrowding may occur. If a session room reaches maximum capacity, attendees are expected to follow instructions provided by Academy staff and signage provided at each session room. For your safety, the Fire Marshall will not allow standing or sitting against walls, or blocking aisles or doors. If you are denied entry by Academy staff or signage that the room is at maximum capacity, please abide as the Fire Marshall has the authority to delay or terminate the session or even the entire Convention until the problems have been satisfactorily corrected.
Sessions and Session Cancellation & Changes
Sessions are held at the Indiana Convention Center, unless otherwise noted. All sessions will be presented in English. No translation service is provided.
Sessions printed in the Conference Guide may change or cancel after going to print. For the most current session information, download the mobile app, see the online conference planner, and check the Daily News distributed on-site.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Academy will provide shuttle service to those with disabilities who require mobility assistance.
A complimentary Saturday Airport shuttle will be available by reservation only.
