Awarded to an individual with less than 10 years of experience who has demonstrated substantial achievements in one of the following areas: clinical excellence, teaching or mentoring, research, service to the profession, or social media influence. Individuals must be a member of the American Academy of Audiology and have completed their AuD and/or PhD within their 10 years of experience.
Examples of substantial achievements include a new professional who has streamlined a protocol within a clinic, someone who has taken initiative to mentor AuD students or first-year AuDs, or someone who has conducted exemplary service work in their community or within the Academy.
How to Nominate
A nominator submits the name of a nominee, the award they are being nominated for, and a statement of support of 250 words or less. The nominee is then contacted by the Academy and informed of their nomination. They are asked to provide their current CV and a letter, 500 words or less, explaining why they believe they deserve the award for which they are being nominated.
